Notes: The up to 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) wide, tubular flowers have two, ruffled upper lobes and three, yellow and magenta-streaked lower lobes. Hummingbirds are attracted to the showy flowers. The leaves are narrowly linear and curved. These native trees grow in desert washes and bloom April through August.
