Notes: The up to 1 inch (2.54 cm) wide flowers have a pink style and whitish stigma lobes. The flowers bloom in the summer at the ends of the proliferating green fruit chains. Sections of the variably spiny stems easily detach (jump) and can take root, forming new plants.
