Notes: The small flowers are clustered in terminal racemes. The blue-green leaves are tiny, scale-like, and excrete salt. Five Tamarix species are found in Arizona, and all are non-native. These introduced trees are invasive weeds and can be found in increasing numbers in riparian areas.
