Notes: The 5-petaled flowers are 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) across and have a red center. The stamens are joined into a central column. The seed capsules have 5 chambers. The leaves are hairy, grayish-green, round to oblong in shape, and have toothed margins. It blooms anytime from January to October.
