incanum Common Name: Pelotazo, Hoary Abutilon Flower Color: Pink, white, or yellow Plant Type: Subshrub, Herb, Perennial Height: To 40 inches (1 m) tall Date Observed: October 2, 2004 & March 18, 2004 Notes: The up to 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide flowers have 5 petals, each with a dark red basal spot with red veins extending from it. The leaves are heart-shaped and elongated with sharp or rounded toothed margins and petioles half the length of the leaf blade. The plants are covered in silvery velvet hair. |
