Notes: The up to 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) long, tubular flowers are clustered at the branch tips and have 4 rounded, point-tipped lobes. The flowers attract hummingbirds. The dark green leaves are oval to lanceolate with pointed tips. This native shrub grows in semi-shaded canyon areas above 3000 feet (914 m).
