Notes: The up to 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) wide flowers bloom in May and June and have green to bronze anther filaments and a whitish to reddish style. The stems are slender with usually 0 to 2 ( occasionally up to 4) spines per areole. The fruits are green to yellowish.
