Notes: Poisonous. The flowers are 1 inch (2.5 cm) across and have 5 ruffled lobes and 5 stamens. The leaves are silvery green and oblong to lance-shaped with wavy edges. The fruits are round and when ripe, look very much like yellow cherry tomatoes. These native, prickly weeds grow in disturbed areas.
