Notes: The 2 inch (5 cm) wide, funnel-shaped flowers open only in the morning and have 5 hairy sepals. The leaves are usually 3-lobed, but are also often 5-lobed or heart-shaped. The leaves and stems are hairy unlike I. barbatisepala. It is an introduced, riparian weed.
