Notes: The tiny flowers are in narrow, elongated, fuzzy, terminal flower spikes and have long, yellow-tipped stamens and hairy, brownish sepals. The leaves are green and pinnately compound with an odd number of tiny, oval leaflets. Similar Dalea species have larger, more elongated leaflets and/or fatter flower spikes.
