bicolor Common Name: Miniature Lupine Flower Color: Blue and white Plant Type: Herb, Annual Height: To 16 inches (41 cm) tall Date Observed: March 27, 2004 Notes: The 1/4 inch (6 mm) long flowers are in several whorls of usually 5 flowers along the hairy flower stalks. The top banner petal has a squared off top edge and a large, white patch with dark blue dots. The palmately compound leaves have 5 to 7 leaflets with hair only on the upper surfaces. |
