Notes: The flowers are 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) wide and have white, petal-like sepals with delicately-haired backs. The leaves are glabrous, finely-divided, and form a whorl midway up the stem. The seed heads are woolly and cylindrical. These native wildflowers usually bloom here in February and March on rocky slopes.
