Notes: The tiny, all-white, 5-petaled flowers are in flat-topped umbels that turn brownish and fold up into cups when dry. The leaves are pinnately compound, often densely covered in bristly hairs, and when crushed, smell like those of carrots. The roots of this native, spring-blooming wildflower are edible.
