stevioides Common Name: Steve's Dustymaiden, Esteve's Pincushion Flower Color: White, cream, pinkish, pale yellow Plant Type: Herb, Annual Height: To 1 foot (30 cm) tall or more Date Observed: April 4, 2004 Notes: The rayless flower heads have enlarged outer corollas. The leaves are 1–2-pinnate with 4-8 main lobe pairs. C. carphoclinia and C. macrantha have barely enlarged peripheral corollas, and C. fremontii has 0-1 pinnate leaves with only 1-2 lobe pairs. |
