Notes: The oddly-shaped, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide flower heads are daisies with 1 to 5 rays and multiple disk flowers. The flowers are clustered at the ends of the reddish stems. The leaves are opposite, leathery, bluish green, and have toothed and often reddish margins. This native plant grows in rocky canyons.
