Notes: The up to 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) wide flower heads have square-tipped, toothed rays. The hairless leaves are pinnately divided into long, linear lobes. Unlike the similar Rafinesquia neomexicana and R. californica, this spring wildflower has tiny, tack-shaped glands on the stems and flower bases.
