Notes: The flower heads are 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide. The leaves are green, linear, and hairy. This spring wildflower is common in years with good winter rains and can carpet patches of the ground along with Antheropeas lanosum. The similar M. bellidiforme is found in western Arizona.
