Notes: The up to 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) wide flowers have 5, rounded petals and are in large, flat-topped clusters at the branch tips. The leaves are green, leathery, and lanceolate with serrate edges and a pale midvein. It blooms in May and June and grows in upland desert, chaparral, and oak-juniper areas.
