Notes: The 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, 5-lobed flowers have an orange-spotted lower lip. Unlike M. glabratus and M. dentilobus, the flower stalks are shorter than the corolla. The scalloped leaves are sessile or joined at the base at the stem tips. It grows in wet areas.
