Notes: The 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide flowers have 5 petals and 5 fuzzy sepals. The dry, goat head-shaped fruits have sharp thorns that can be painful to step on. The leaves are green, opposite, and pinnately compound. This is an introduced, noxious weed.
