Notes: The up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide flowers have 5, bright yellow petals. The bluish green leaves are bipinnately compound with 1 to 3 pairs of oval leaflets. There is a spine at the leaf nodes. This native, desert tree has smooth, bluish green bark.
