Notes: The flowers have 5 petals and are 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide. The top petal is white. The small, green leaves are bipinnately compound with 5 to 7 pairs of oval leaflets. This native, desert tree has smooth, yellowish green bark and spine-tipped branches.
