porophylloides (Dyssodia porophylloides) Common Name: San Felipe Dogweed, San Felipe Dyssodia Flower Color: Yellow to orange, may be red-tinged Plant Type: Subshrub, Perennial Height: To 2 feet (61 cm) tall Date Observed: March 25, 2004 & April 3, 2004 Notes: The flower heads are 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide with 0 to 12 ray flowers. The bracts are dotted with dark glands. The leaves are divided into 3 main lobes. The crushed foliage has an unpleasant odor. |
