incanum Common Name: Pelotazo, Hoary Abutilon Flower Color: Pink, white, or orange-yellow Plant Type: Subshrub, Herb, Perennial Height: To 40 inches (102 cm) tall Date Observed: October 4, 2003 Notes: The up to 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) wide flowers have 5 petals, each with a dark red basal spot with reddish veins extending from it. The velvety leaves are heart-shaped, petioled, and somewhat elongated with sharp or rounded toothed margins. The brown seed capsules have 5 mericarps. |
