Notes: The 1/2 inch (13 mm) wide flower heads are on branched stems and contain only toothed, square-tipped rays. The dentate to coarsely lobed leaves clasp the stems and have distinctive spines along the lower sides of their whitish midribs. These introduced weeds have white, milky sap.
