Name: Sanvitalia abertii Common Name: Albert's Creeping Zinnia, Abert's Creeping Zinnia, Abert's Dome Flower Color: Yellow rays and green disks Plant Type: Herb, Annual Height: To about 10 inches (25 cm) tall Date Observed: August 27 & September 10, 2005 Notes: The small flower heads have a rounded dome of green disk flowers ringed by rounded, 2-cleft, yellow rays. The paired linear to lanceolate, green leaves usually have 3 prominent lengthwise veins. It blooms from July to October. |
