Purple and Blue Arizona Flowers

Listed here are some of the southeastern Arizona wildflowers with conspicuous purple, blue, or violet flowers. Note: Some of the wildflowers listed below do not yet have images available in these colors.
Purple, blue, and violet wildflowers are common here in southeastern Arizona, both in the spring and the summer. In the deserts, small-scale displays of purple-flowered Phacelia (Phacelia spp.) can often be seen in the springtime, while somewhat larger-scale displays of blue-flowered Lupines (Lupinus spp.) can often be seen here in both desert and mountain areas.
