Boraginaceae – Borage Family

Plants in the tropical and temperate Borage Family (Boraginaceae) are annual, biennial, or perennial herbs, lianas, shrubs, and trees with alternate, entire, often bristly hairy leaves, tubular, 5-lobed flowers with 5 stamens and a superior ovary, and fruit in the form of 1 to 4-seeded nutlets.
