Passifloraceae – Passion-flower Family

Plants in the mainly tropical and subtropical Passion-flower Family (Passifloraceae) are perennial shrubs, trees, lianas, and vines with alternate, simple or palmate leaves, flowers with 0, 3, 4, or 5 petals/lobes, 3, 4, or 5 sepals, a single column of fused stamen filaments, and a stalked ovary, and fleshy or capsular fruit.
