Pedaliaceae – Sesame Family
Plants in the mainly tropical and subtropical Sesame Family (Pedaliaceae) are annual and perennial herbs and shrubs with simple, opposite (below) leaves, tubular, sometimes two-lipped flowers with 5 lobes, 4 or 5 sepals, and 2 or 4 stamens, and fruit in the form of a capsule or winged samara.
