Mazes and Labyrinths

Mazes are labyrinths, but not all labyrinths are mazes. Some labyrinths are single paths that bend or spiral inward, usually toward the center. Such labyrinths are designed to be decorative or meditative and not confusing puzzles, as one is not likely to lose one's way in this sort of labyrinth.
