Description: The flower heads are small and have a rounded dome of green disk flowers and a ring of rounded, 2-cleft, yellow rays. The leaves usually have 3 prominent lengthwise veins and are green, opposite, stiffly hairy and rough-textured, and linear, lanceolate, or narrowly elliptical in shape. The stems are spreading to upright and covered in stiff, straight hairs.
